August In honor of 14thof Mordad “The Constitutionalist Movement”, and the 14th anniversary of Khashm Organization a celebration was hosted by Khashm Organization USA, The Iranian Monarchist Movement on Monday August 6, 2006 at the Camden House Beverly Hills.
It was also an honor to host Mr. Homer Abramian who was visiting Los Angeles from Australia. Mr. Abramian is tirelessly working on his project of installing a statue of Cyrus the Great in known parks throughout the world. He has been successful in Sydney, Australia, 3 parks in Israel, Tajikistan and India and he is currently working on Paris, Washington, New York, Dallas and Los Angeles.
We were also honored to host Mr. Hooshang Seyhoun, Iranian architect known world wide who designed this statue and also Mr. Ezri former Israeli ambassador to Iran during the reign of His Majesty Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi and Mr. Cyrus Kar, young Iranian filmmaker who showed part of his film about Cyrus the Great.
Our special guests were Princess Naz Banou Pahlavi and Prince Shahriar Pahlbod and Beverly Hills’ own Mayor Jimmy Delshad who graciously spent time with our guests and is also working hard to aid Mr. Abramian in installing this statue at a park in Beverly Hills.
Members of the Iranian media and different political organization with all different political views were also present at this event. Khahsm Organization’s number one priority is to help in the unity of all freedom loving Iranians from different backgrounds in order to work together in bringing about regime change in Iran. Let us not forget our number one goal is freeing our nation from the current predicament it is in and then voting for our chosen form of government.
Mr. Ardavan Mofid as always did a superb job hosting this event. Also a special thanks to our own Mashia for his special performance during dinner. We would like to thank all of our friends for sharing this evening with us.
On behalf of all of our members I hope this will be a start of team work between all of us.
