Ba dorood:
After so many times hearing from people in Iran that they do not care about anything but their own economic status then, I’d say, we want a system that makes Iranians prosper.
I like to add, a system that is also tolerant of ALL.
This “all” covers anything and everything from ethnicity, religion, language, heritage, and customs.
Iranians must demand from the regime to provide the first one, prosperity, and in time they must ask for tolerance.
For almost three decades Iranians asked for democracy thinking that regime will abide…well, they can claim to have democracy if you buy ELECTIONS even in form of ELECSHOW is all needed.
We know that democracy does not provide prosperity but it is a path to it. JUST A PATH.
As I stated above, seeking something as general as democracy given many have different understanding of it, is what has been keeping us from liberating Iran.
There are other paths such as clarifying WHAT is it that Iranians want. If we have learned anything from peaceful movements in past century against oppressions, is that we have to be CLEAR of what we want.
For so many years the fight was over the type of system which after two decades, most realized and agreed that Iranians will decide when the time comes.
All Iranians with any political inclination can agree over prosperity of Iranians as the common vision for Iran of tomorrow (post Islamic Rip-off). _________________ Ba sepas
