Hello to old and new friends. Thank you Cyrus for letting me in. I am a believer in non violent regime change in Iran. This is my latest article.

Want a quick solution? Pop the question.

http://alimostofi.blogspot.com/

Want a quick solution to all this nuclear crisis for Iran? Yes of course you do. How do we do it? It is really easy. All that we need, is for the theocratically elected Ahmadinejad, to declare that he does not want to nuke Israel. That is all. He just needs to get up, and say, “I do not want to nuke Israel”. That way he will be able to gain a lot of respect from the rest of the world. Then no one can point the finger of suspicion at Iran. Iran would then be trusted, and the country will be on the road to economic prosperity. Ah, but does he or others care about Iran?

No guts

So why doesn’t he clear the air of suspicion? It is not as if it is the most difficult thing to think of is it? What are we supposed to conclude? The answer is that he and his form of Islam has an agenda, but they do not dare tell the Iranian people that. Moreover the US religious right wing needs people like Ahmadinejad. But let’s concentrate on Iranians. Ahmadinejad will never have the guts to tell the people of Iran, that he is preparing for a major war for his messiah to return after he has nuked Israel. If he did that, then the people of Iran, who are Iranian first and Moslem second, will topple him. Ahmadinejad cloaks his Islamist ideology with Iranian Nationalism. But Iranians are beginning to call him an Islamist, and most of the western press is beginning to use the same phrase. Most Iranians are Moslems, but most are not hell bent in bombing Israel. And most also believe that Ahmadinejad does not want to bomb Israel. That is why Ahmadinejad has managed to siphon so much money from oil exports, to buy very expensive equipment for so called civilian nuclear research. The Iranian public has never been against honest civilian use of nuclear development. Iranians like all other human beings do not want their government to put them in danger. One word about his real agenda, and Ahmadinejad would be ousted.

Power vacuum

So what has happened? Quite clearly the theocrats, who want to create a world war to prepare for their messiah, have managed to carry on the path of creating a nuclear bomb, because they know that the people of Iran think that the US is making up all these stories. The Islamists know that they have the benefit of the doubt, and that there is no Iranian opposition with strong enough media presence, to be able to convince other Iranians what the nuke mad mullahs are doing. There is a power vacuum amongst secular Iranians. There are no Iranians that the governments of the world look to other than the Islamists in Iran. Just recently President Clinton told the world that, as soon as he heard about the Dr Rice’s $75m proposal for Iranian dissidents. So the world thinks that they are stuck with the mullahs, and they are trying to haggle with them. We must then conclude that Iran’s Islamists nuclear threat is just another tool for the US right wing to win votes. This is why the Iranian people do not oppose the Islamists in Iran. They do not know of any alternative. They believe that all this nuclear fuss is US propaganda, and the mullah are doing nothing wrong. But wait a minute, surely if the mullah are not a threat, then why don’t they clearly say that they do not want to nuke Israel. They do not even have to mention Israel, they can just speak in general terms. They can say that they do not want to prepare the world for their messiah. So maybe the Islamists are not so united on this matter, and they too have a power vacuum alternative to Ahmadinejad, now that he has lost even the ear of Saudi Arabia and India. How embarrassing is that?

Destroying the myth

It is quite clear that internally amongst the Islamists, the more fanatical elements have used the rather stricter interpretation of their creed, to show that they are morally superior than all other less extreme Moslems in Iran. No one in Iran dares to mention it, and anything the Iranians in US say about this falls on deaf ears. So the stalemate continues, and the Islamists carry on siphoning the oil to make their nuke bomb, and one day prepare the world for WWIII, so as to have their messiah return, after they have nuked Israel. So I ask the world press, or some body in some high position in some country, please ask Ahmadinejad and call his bluff. Ask him why don’t you clearly state that you do not want to nuke Israel, and let us get this whole nuclear fiasco behind us. But no one will ask Ahmadinejad this question. Just like the other question I want the world to ask about how will Ahmadinejad respond to a complete national strike. These are questions that will create the necessary dialogue, that will destroy the myth and illusions of power of both the Islamists and people who want to take advantage of them in the name of Iran.

"My nonresistance is active resistance in a different plane. Nonresistance to evil does not mean absence of any resistance whatsoever but it means not resisting evil with evil but with good. Resistance, therefore, is transferred to a higher and absolutely effective plane." M.Gandhi

Q. So what is this higher and absolutely effective plane?

"I will do something, but not what you think." I reached out my hand in a friendly manner saying "You are all right but you forget about it. I am not afraid of that false face you have on. I see the good man inside. If you want to knife me or knock me cold, go ahead. I won't hit you back; go ahead. I dare you!"

"What is your strongest weapon? It is your big fist with a big knife. What is my weakest weapon? It is a little fist without a knife. What is my strongest weapon? It is the fact that I do not get excited; I do not boil over; some people call it spiritual power. What is your weakest weapon? It is your getting excited and boiling over and your lack of spiritual power. I would be dumb if I used my weakest weapon, my small fist without a knife, against your strongest weapon, your large fist with a knife. I am smart, so I use my strongest weapon, my quiet spiritual power against your weakest weapon, your excited manner, and I won, didn't I?"

Regarding vengeance, Jesus said, "Do not resist an evil person. If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also. And if someone wants to sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well. If someone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles" (Matthew 5:39-41, NIV). The Apostle Paul warns, "Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God's wrath" (Romans 12:17, 19, NIV)

So it seems that there is "God's wrath" in the Christian definition.
