Dear Mr. Deepti Choubey,

It is a shameful act that when government of U.S.A. has recognized & declared Iran as one of the” axis' of evil” your reputable organization invites one of the world's biggest terrorist regime's representative as a guest to deliver hallow speech for some thing which does not exist in IRI.

Trita Parsi hardly represents the people of Iran in or outside of the country. It is well known to Iranian Diasporas that, HE is supported by the Islamic Republic and is one of the regime’s agents in the U.S. to try to normalize relations between the IRI and the U.S.A.!? As if that is in the best interest of U.S.A.?

The over whelming majority of Iranians in and outside of Iran are requesting U.S.A. & others to adopt a policy for regime change. But Trita Parsi and the likes of him are doing their best in vain, to delay that necessary process for a while!

But neither HE nor anyone else can stop the inevitable process. The Iranians will topple this regime for a secular, democratic one. And no one with any kind of appeasement or white washing can stop them.

By inviting such a well known shady person, ultimately you will be considered as a loser!?

Sincerely,

H. Hakimi,
Oslo,
Norway

CAPACITY BUILDING WORKSHOPS:
The topics we have selected for the upcoming meeting reflect the needs and interests that many of you have expressed. We hope you will encourage appropriate members of your staff to attend the following training sessions (please have them RSVP):

“Winning through Alliances” – Active cooperation with, and support from, key individuals and organizations outside the peace and security community can make real policy change happen. This workshop will cover best practices, practical examples (drawing on connections among nuclear energy, climate change and security issues), and tools and resources for building effective alliances along with some hands on exercises for reaching out to new partners.

“Making the News: The Role of Media Plans, Rapid Response Strategies and Editorial Board Meetings” – The peace and security perspective is underrepresented in mainstream media. Improving our capacity to engage the media will increase our ability to shape policy debates and outcomes. This workshop will cover the nuts and bolts of a media plan, strategies for rapid response to events, and hands on exercises conducting effective editorial board meetings.

Staff members participating in the morning trainings are welcome to stay for lunch, and for the afternoon session if they wish (space permitting). As space is limited, RSVPs are required (please forward this invitation to them).
