Leading Iranian cleric criticises regime for not being harsh on Kurds
15/08/2005 KurdishMedia.com
London (KurdishMedia.com) 15 August 2005: Mullah Xulamreza Heseni, the Islamic representative in Azerbaijan and the Imam of Urmiye stated that he would wear the martyr’s uniform to fight Kurds in Eastern Kurdistan for rising against the Islamic Republic, reported the local media on Saturday.
Heseni was critical of the Islamic Republic for not oppressing the Kurds severely enough when he was leading the Friday prayer. Mullah Heseni regarded the Kurdish protesters as “Jide enghlabi” – i.e. anti-revolutionaries. "It is time to extensively suppress anyone who complicate things and work as anti-revolutionaries", he added.
Local media also reported that Mullah Heseni is well known for his anti-Kurdish activities and views and that he has given verdicts to execute dozens of Kurds. _________________ The Sun Is Rising In The West!Soon It Will Shine on All of Iran! |
