Petition for Expulsion of IRI from UN

The National Council for Leadership of the Opposition to the Islamic Republic of Iran
Declaration Number IV
Subject: Petition for Expelling Envoys to the United Nations of the Islamic Republic
You Excellency
Human Rights violations by the Islamic "Republic" of Iran have reached an unprecedented level of cruelty and barbarism.
The savage and rather cruel murder of Mr. Ghaderi in Mahaabaad, of Kurdistan province, charged with participating in an anti government demonstration (where his body sliced in the middle, attached to a jeep and pulled on streets) caused outrage and severe protests from people of Kurdistan. The agents of the Government of the Islamic "Republic" of Iran have shoot at the crowd of protesters, killing and wounding a number of people and detaining many more.
Akbar Ganji and Manoochehr Mohammadi, two of the political prisoners, stand up to their death demanding their most basic human rights while the cruel regime of the Islamic "Republic" of Iran stubbornly demonstrates indifference to all warnings and demands from international political authorities and human rights officials. Not only do they not take any notice of what is being demanded but they also consider it as interference in the internal affairs of the country.
Where does such judgment emanate from?
While on one hand, the Islamic "Republic" of Iran is a signatory to many international contracts, including the World Charter of Human Rights, has its agents present at the United Nations as representatives of the nation. At the same time and on the other hand it practices entirely different sets of laws inside the country. These practices are in sharp contrast with the international laws and particularly the Human Rights Charter. The Supreme Leader who is currently Ali Khamenei, otherwise known as "Veliyat-eh-Faghih" is legally entitled to ignore and revoke any international contract, internal law, decisions of any or all of the three branches – legislative, judiciary, and executive – of the government and place his own decree, titled "Guardian Decree” (“Hokme Velaayati”) above all international or internal verdicts. The role of Supreme Leader in the constitution is based on the ideas of Ayatollah Khomeini, who positioned the Leader at the top of Iran's political power structure. It is him also who is responsible to propagate the Islamic Government, that he knows it as God’s Government, in any possible way throughout the world. His decree is considered as God’s decree!!
We draw your attention to only a few articles of the Islamic Republic laws in the following page.
You Excellency,
Reforming the structure of the United Nations is a historical necessity. In this grand motion, do you not presume that representatives of all governments whose internal laws are in sharp contrast to the International Human Rights Charter and other international contracts must be expelled from this organization and be replaced by the true representatives of nations?
As an authority effective in the fate of humanity, your precise views are what we earnestly desire.
Please, send your views to the following address and let us work in a synergic team to relief our world from insecurity and terror. _________________ The Sun Is Rising In The West!Soon It Will Shine on All of Iran! |
