To: Honorable Leaders of the Free World, Honorable Citizens of the World, Honorable Ban Ki-moon, Secretary-General of the United Nations

The life that God gives, no man should extinguish. The illegitimate mullahs presently ruling Iran blatantly violate this sacred covenant by shooting at a large number of peaceful demonstrators who are demanding nothing more than their God-Given-Right to liberty and pursuit of happiness. The mullahs and their mercenaries are wasting precious human life to maintain themselves in power through terrorizing the population.

Our hearts are bleeding watching how brutally the government agents are beating up the children and assault them in their dormitories at night while they are sleeping or invade the sanctuary of their homes to beat them up or arrest them. Regretfully, the ruling regime sees these actions as part of their sacred duty. They see any defiance to the supreme leader as defiance to God. They call the demonstrators who just want their voices to be heard "terrorists," “thugs” and “agents of foreign governments.” If they do not shoot people outright, they savagely attack them with axes, chains, batons and any other crude weapons they can get their hands on.

We call upon the free governments of the world, as well as all other businesses, organizations and individuals to enlist in a non-violent campaign of ending the reign of terror of the belligerent clerical regime. Governments should enact the following:

* Renounce the use of force for ending the impasse.

* Declare unequivocally the commitment to respect the territorial integrity of Iran, as well as the rights of the Iranians to decide, through a democratic process, all matters pertaining to their life and country.

* Initiate, without delay or equivocation, a comprehensive program of assistance to all democratic Iranian opposition groups, both within as well as outside of Iran, in their struggle to accomplish the regime change themselves.

* Proclaim wide and far, the cardinal reason for taking these measures against the Mullahs' reign of terror is to prevent them from acquiring nuclear weapons, the threat they pose to the region as well as to the world, and the stimulus they provide for other nations to develop their own nuclear arsenal.

* Enforce the U.N. sanctions by inspecting every vessel headed for Iranian ports to make sure they are not ferrying prohibited material. Other than vessels known to be carrying foodstuff and medicine, each ship should be subjected to elaborate inspection.

* Establish an Iran Assistance Fund, from Iran’s frozen assets as well as contributions from peace-loving individuals and organizations, to assist Iranian families during the hardship that the sanctions may create.

* Persuade Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iraq, and other Persian Gulf oil producers to significantly increase their output and drastically cut the price. It is what they must do to help forestall the emergence of a nuclear clerical Iran bent on ruling the region.

* Obtain court orders to freeze the overseas assets of Iranian leaders, since they are clearly ill-begotten funds that rightfully belong to the nation.

* Shut down, or severely restrict the operation of the Mullahs' businesses in Dubai and other Persian Gulf states.

* Reduce the staff or completely shut down Iranian missions. Severely restrict Iranian officials and nuclear scientists from foreign travel. Recall your ambassadors from Iran.

* Deny the Iranian airlines operation and encourage non-Iranian airlines to cease serving the country. Provide for flights that serve emergency medical and other health needs of the Iranians.

* File legal charges against the leaders of the Islamic Republic's wanton violation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights; for their crimes against humanity, genocidal actions against religious and political groups; for support of international terrorism; for demolition of religious sites and cemeteries; for rape, torture, and summary execution of prisoners of conscience; for forgery of documents, for acts of blackmail and fraud, and much more.

* Declare and treat the clerical regime as illegitimate.

* Stop or slow down Iran's import of refined petroleum products.

* Shut down the Islamic Republic's web sites and block their television and radio broadcasts.

* Locate and seize the regime's front organizations such as Alavi Foundation in New York City.

* Identify the agents of the Islamic Republic and prosecute them as promoters of international terrorism.

* Investigate individuals and organizations that lobby or front for the Islamic Republic.

* Take all necessary steps to stop investments in Iran. Persuade banks to refrain from dealing with Iran and the issuance of letters of credit.

* Pressure businesses to stop dealing with Iran.

* Pressure governments to stop doing business with Iran. Warn countries such as China and Russia against circumventing the U.N. resolution and engaging in commercial adventurism.

We, the undersigned, are greatly concerned that the confrontational course of the illegitimate clerical regime of Iran may ignite the flame of war. We urge the leadership as well as people of the world to join in the non-violent campaign of dislodging the mullahs and helping Iranians to establish a secular democracy. The Iran problem is both serious and urgent. It is a world problem. A warning to the world governments and others: You need to act now. Apathy is sleep. If you sleep, we will all weep.

Sincerely,

To: The freedom-loving women and men of the world who believe in human dignity, the Amnesty International, Human Rights organizations and commissions, and the United Nations

According to the reports provided by the human rights activists, there is a catastrophe brewing in the Iranian jails where the number of detainee protestors is on the rise and the conditions of the jails are worsening by the hour. The Islamic government is holding wounded detainees, especially women, captured in the streets and even hospitals, in totally unhealthy, miserable, and inhumane conditions. If this cruel practice is not stopped, we will have a lot of “Neda”s, doomed to a painful and gradual death.
We, the undersigned, beg everyone, including all relevant international organizations to step up their efforts and put an end to these clear breaches of all international conventions of human rights and stop the cruel mistreatments of Iranian detainees who have lawfully and peacefully protested against the Islamic government’s uncivilized practices.

To: The Secretary General of the United Nations, Ban Ki-Moon

Your Excellency
Peaceful and non-violent demonstrations by the citizens of Iran, since 13 June till 29 June 2009, protesting the results of the recent presidential elections, have been brutally suppressed by government agencies. a lots of people have been reportedly killed and thousands detained by the Islamic Republic of Iran for demonstrating peacefully. Even children, who were bystanders, were not spared.
On 12 June 2009 the Ministry of Interior held the 10th Presidential Elections of Iran. Strangely, within hours of the closing of polling stations, the incumbent, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, was announced president. Millions of Iranians who had voted, advocated and petitioned for the leaders of the opposition, Mehdi Karroubi and Mirhossein Mousavi, took to the streets in the next five days to show their dissatisfaction with the announced election results, claming it was rigged. They were all calling for re-elections.
Spontaneous and peaceful protests broke out throughout the country and citizens of all ages participated. Demonstrations were peaceful till disrupted by hired hooligans of the government, who have been repeatedly used on earlier occasions by the Iranian regime to strike fear among dissidents and to justify tougher law enforcement. These hooligans even entered student dormitories in Tehran, Shiraz and Esfahan universities. Communication and information links have been censored. Electronic media used by the protestors were blocked or filtered, like websites, weblogs, and text messaging on telephone networks. Local newspapers have not been able to give accurate information, which has been witnessed by hundreds of thousands of Iranian and the press all over the world. Citizens are being harassed and subjected to searches after dark for no reason.
In light of the current situation, we appeal to the UN to honor the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, to which the government of Iran is a party, by:
A. Calling for an investigation of the violation of ARTICLE 5 and ARTICLE 9 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. (No one shall be subjected to torture or to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment; No one shall be subjected to arbitrary arrest, detention or exile) by the Islamic Republic of Iran by giving a list of those detained since 13 June 2009 and procedures followed to protect their rights.
B. Holding accountable the Islamic Republic of Iran for violation of ARTICLE 20 [Everyone has the right to freedom of peaceful assembly and association].
C. Holding an Indepent investigation into the rigging of elections on 12 June 2009 by the Islamic Republic of Iran under ARTICLE 21 [(1) Everyone has the right to take part in the government of his country, directly or through freely chosen representatives. (2) Everyone has the right of equal access to public service in his country. (3) The will of the people shall be the basis of the authority of government; this will shall be expressed in periodic and genuine elections which shall be by universal and equal suffrage and shall be held by secret vote or by equivalent free voting procedures.]
D. Calling to allow the free-flow of information by respecting the right of citizens to freedom of expression and opinion foreseen in ARTICLE 19 [Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers].
E. Asking the Islamic Republic of Iran to provide equal protection of the law to all its citizens regardeless of political affiliation, according to ARTICLE 7.

Leaders of Islamic Republic of Iran must be tried!

The world is watching the political situation in Iran. People in Iran have taken matters into their own hands and are protesting against the Islamic Republic of Iran. Many people who are in the streets shouting “Down with Dictator” have no illusion about the different factions of the Islamic regime. The choice for them is not Mousavi or Ahmadinejad. The choice is the overthrow of the Islamic Republic.

This is the regime of 150,000 murders of the opposition and the people fighting for freedom and equality. Join millions of people in Iran to put pressure on the Islamic regime. Sign this petition. Let us get rid of the Islamic regime in the same way millions of people internationally helped to get rid of the apartheid regime in South Africa.

We the undersigned support the struggle of people in Iran for equality, freedom and prosperity and demand that:

1- Islamic regime be stuck off as the legitimate state of Iran and be expelled from the international community.

2- The bank accounts, (outside Iran), belonging to the leaders of the Islamic regime to be frozen.

3- Leaders of the Islamic regime must be tried at international courts of law for crimes against people of Iran.

To: The Austrian government

On July 13, 1989 one of the most tragic events in Kurdish history took place in Vienna, Austria. On that day Abdul Rahman Ghassemlou, the General-Secretary of Kurdistan Democratic Party (Iran), Abdullah Ghaderi-Azar and Fadhil Rassoul who were negotiating with representatives from Islamic Republic of Iran were brutally murdered. This team had travelled to Austria to negotiate a peaceful solution and obtain political rights for the Kurdish people in Iran. Despite the indisputable evidence on that time; the Austrian government did not allow the police authority and the judicial system to conclude the investigation and the legal process. As a result this unprecedented crime which had taken place in the capital of a democratic European country was never resolved and the murderers remained unpunished to this day.

Twenty years following this unjust event; we are resolved that this murder case must be reinstated. The truth behind this murder case relying on the facts found previously and new facts which point to the participation of Mr. Mahmoud Ahmadanejad in this horrible crime; should be brought to the light. An independent judicial review would pave the way and remedy this historical injustice which was committed to the Kurdish and Iranian freedom loving people. The course of events today proves that such an action would serve democracy in Iran as well as national security of European countries.

We hereby demand that the Austrian government grants the reinstatement of the case so the legal proceedings could carry out and bring this case, closed for many years, to a satisfactory and just conclusion.

We call upon all organisations and individuals who sympathise with the Kurdish issue and democracy in Iran or advocate peace, freedom and justice in the world to join us and sign this petition, demanding that the case of Dr. Ghassemlou’s assassination be reinstated.

Dear IALA members and friends:

Below you will find a copy of the open letter to the United Nations in reference to the Human Rights violations. You can go online via the link below (or click on link) and reflect your support. We ask you to forward this link to other supporters of Human Rights for their support.

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon
UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay
UN Headquarters
First Avenue at 46th Street
New York, NY 10017, USA

RE: HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATIONS IN IRAN

Honorable Secretary-General and High Commissioner:

We, the undersigned, urge that you consider the illegitimacy that will be naturally driven from a non-transparent body or commission that investigates the deaths and other Human Rights violations in Iran.

It is of utmost importance that the Democratic legitimacy of any purported government in Iran be transparent and the only way to have transparency that will cease the violence and investigate the Human Rights violations is through an unbiased and Independent Commission appointed by the United Nations.

We urge that you immediately appoint an Independent Commission to identify the Human Rights violations of the Iranian protesters, to include relief and release of all Iranian protesters who were arrested; to determine the identity of the Human Rights violators; redress the grievances and to cause remedies for the victims and their families; and to investigate and address the voting irregularities in order to respect the vote of the Iranian people.

Furthermore, a call for an immediate meeting of the permanent Members of the UN Security and the General Assembly, signatories to Article III of the UN Convention Against Torture to adopt and pass a resolution condemning the Islamic Republic Government’s cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment of Iranian citizens.

The sooner the United Nations takes aggressive and independent action against the continued heinous Human Rights Violations in Iran, that have shocked and moved the entire world, the more lives that we can save.

Respectfully submitted,

To: 44 Nobel Laureates, UN and FREE World Leaders

We, the undersigned, would like to thank the 44 Nobel Laureates for showing courage when the leaders of the free world stood ear-splitting silent. Your August 3rd Open Letter titled “Do not feel abandoned. Do not lose hope” was an inspiration to millions of Iranians during a critical time when the U.N. and most of G8 leaders turned a deaf ear with no real actions. Your unilateral action will not be forgotten.

“IRAN OPEN LETTER: AN OPEN LETTER

to All the dissidents --
the brave men and women of Iran:
Do not feel abandoned.
Do not lose hope.

The world knows that its physical and spiritual survival is linked to yours.

We, the undersigned Nobel Laureates, strongly condemn the flagrant human rights violations in the wake of the recent presidential election in Iran.

We deplore the violent and oppressive tactics the current regime is using to dissuade protestors from expressing their right to free speech. Your election was shamelessly tampered with and your human rights disregarded. We are outraged by your government’s denial of basic liberties to its people, such as detaining large groups of professors, students and innocent civilians, and denying proper funeral services to victims of its violence. These events, and the decision to ban all international media from covering these events, are blatant violations of the democratic principles your government claims to uphold.

We are well aware that throughout the long and glorious history of the Iranian civilization, your ancestors have often stood firmly against both interference from without and repression from within. Today, once again, you are fighting for a just cause.

We urge President Obama and the world’s political leadership to support, with all means at their disposal, the people of Iran, who deserve to have their votes counted, their voices heard, and their dignity respected.

To: White House

March 27, 2009

Mr. President,

I watched your address to Iranian people and Iran’s rulers for the occasion of Norouz.

It is not a secret to Iranians and many people around the world that, the current regime in Iran owes its very existence to the 1979 World Conspiracy against the Shah. According to undeniable records after 30 years, it is a fact that, the plan to overthrow the Shah of Iran and replace it with the Islamic Republic regime, was formulated by Zbigniew Brzezinski, Cyrus Vance, … and supported by President Carter’s administration. In the 1979 meeting of President Carter with head of the states of Great Britain, France, and Germany in Guadalupe, that strategy was approved and set in motion.

Furthermore, in the past 30 years, the Islamic Republic regime has been supported by the governments of these countries, as it has been serving their interests. A regime that violates citizens’ basic human rights, practices torture and executes innocent people. A regime that instead of improving the lives of its people, is more interested in supporting terrorism and creating crisis around the world, not to mention creating weapons of mass destruction.

You campaigned on platform of “Change”. A real change is changing policy of tolerating and dealing with terrorist regimes. A real change is to support the opposition groups and people of Iran who are fighting for freedom and democracy in Iran for the past 30 years. Regretfully, you are continuing the same policy of negotiation, appeasement and providing a lifeline for the Islamic Republic regime that has been on going for the past three decades.

In your Norouz message, addressing Islamic Republic regime, you placed the people of Iran, next to the regime that is persecuting Iranians for pursuing their Persian culture. A regime that has no Iranian identity, and is making every inhumane effort to abolish Norouz and all Persian heritage and ceremonies.

Mr. President, please stop the policy of tolerance and negotiation with the Islamic Republic regime. Negotiation and green light policies toward the Islamic Republic regime means, recognition and support of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic and the Supreme Leader (Velayat Faghih) power, which are both manifests against Human Rights and Democracy.

With Regards,

Saied Shemirani
Founder
United Persian Organization (UPO) - Our goal is to unite all Iranians around the world for a non-violent campaign to replace the Islamic Republic regime in Iran with a democratic, secular government.

To: United Nation members

I am writing to ask you to take a stand against the atrocities being inflicted on the Iranian people by their current government under the leadership of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Please do not acknowledge this person's assumed role as President of Iran.

Regardless of the results of the June 12 election in Iran, this individual and his government have exhibited blatant disregard for basic human rights and have broken the international treaties of the Geneva Conventions. Rape, torture, and murder have been thrust upon the Iranian people and their families by the hands of the Iran government.

I ask you to reproach your decision that extends an invitation to Ahmadinejad at the annual General Assembly meeting on September 23rd, 2009. If Ahmadinejad is still allowed to attend, I respectfully ask that you refuse to share council chamber with him and leave the meeting.

The people of Iran have not asked the rest of the world for money, intervention or interference, all they ask is for our support in their struggle for a free, democratic Iran. As representative of your country and its people, I urge you to demonstrate that support and walk out on Ahmadinejad on September 23.

Sincerely,

50 Iranian Rights Activists Urge U.N. Rights Chief to Issue Call for Special Session and Inquiry

Geneva, Sept. 16, 2009 — Iran's most famous torture victim appeared before the U.N. Human Rights Council in Geneva today to present an appeal, signed by 50 leading Iranian activists, urging U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay to issue a call for a U.N. Human Rights Council special session and a commission of inquiry into allegations of Iran's mass arrest, rape, torture and killing of post-election demonstrators.

Ahmed Batebi was imprisoned in 1999 for appearing at a Tehran student demonstration, and tortured for 9 years. The Economist magazine published the iconic photo of Batebi, holding the bloodied t-shirt of his injured friend, on its front cover, making him one of the world's most famous political prisoners, and provoking retaliatory abuse from the Iranian prison authorities.

Batebi appeared before the Council today together with Nazanin Afshin-Jam, a former Miss Canada who is founding president of Stop Child Executions, a group advocating for children on death row in Iran.

Today's joint appeal follows below.

Appeal of Iranian Human Rights Defenders
for U.N. Human Rights Council Special Session and
Independent Investigation on Human Rights Violations in Iran

16 September 2009

Dear Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon,
Dear High Commissioner for Human Rights Navanethem Pillay,

Shocked and anguished by the tyranny, oppression, and gross human rights violations perpetrated by the Islamic Republic of Iran since the fraudulent June elections;

Recalling that the Universal Declaration of Human Rights guarantees the right to life, liberty and security of person, freedom of opinion and expression, freedom of peaceful assembly, and the democratic right to participate in genuine elections;

Recalling further that the Universal Declaration of Human Rights prohibits torture and cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment, arbitrary arrest and detention,

Reiterating the July 2, 2009 call by Iranian and international human rights activists for the U.N. Secretary General to name a Personal Envoy for Iran to investigate the post-election violence in Iran, to complete his report on the human rights situation in Iran, due at the 64th session of the General Assembly;

We hereby call upon you to lead the United Nations and the international community in convening an urgent and immediate Special Session of the U.N. Human Rights Council on the grave violations of international human rights law in Iran since the fraudulent June elections, and, in that context, for the Council to establish an independent, international and impartial commission of inquiry to investigate:

• The complicity of Iran’s senior leadership, including Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Kahmenei and President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, in perpetuating massive election fraud, followed by the brutal arrests, beating and killing of peaceful demonstrators by the Basij and other government forces, including the deadly June 20, 2009 shooting of 27-year-old Neda Agha-Soltan;
• Torture and abuse of defendants following their arrest, with credible reports of rape of women and male detainees by security officials, including the rape and killing of Taraneh Mousavi and the rape of Ebrahim Sharifi;
• Specific allegations of gross abuse raised by Mehdi Karroubi and others concerning the Kahrizak detention center, which have been partially acknowledged by Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei;
• The show trials of more than 100 Iranians designed to delegitimize the mass and peaceful protests following the June elections;
• Secret burials of dead protesters in Tehran’s Behesht Zahra cemetery and other locations;

Mindful of the precedent shown by former Secretary-General Kofi Annan in 2006, when he successfully led the international community in calling for a special session of the Human Rights Council on Darfur, we now look to your moral leadership to give hope to the millions seeking human rights, freedom and justice in Iran.

Sincerely,

To: Secretary-General of United Nations Ban Ki Moon, U.N. High Commissioner Navanethem Pillay, Iran's Permanant Representative of United Nations Mohammad Khazaee, U.S. State Department, Amnesty International, Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, Head of Judiciary Ayatollah Sadegh Larijani, Head of Tehran Judiciary Ali Reza Avaei,

We are requesting for an urgent call to action to overturn the scheduled execution on October 19, 2009 of Safar Angooti, who was a minor at the time of his conviction. Safar was sentenced to death in April 27, 2008 when he was 17-years-old for fighting and killing a rival suitor for a girl.

According to Etemad daily, Safar said "I have killed him but not intentionally. I did this because I was inexperienced and I was angry. I asked the family of the victim to forgive me but the victim's father said that I had killed his son Mehdi and deserve the punishment." The father of the deceased said "I don't know the reason why they got into a fight but Safar has killed my son and he should be killed".

Safar Angooti was previously scheduled for execution on May 6, 2009, but it was postponed at the last minute, and now has once again been rescheduled for execution on Oct 19, 2009.

The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights which was ratified and signed by Iran, prohibits the execution of minors.

Article 37 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child states - Torture and deprivation of liberty: No child shall be subjected to torture, cruel treatment or punishment, unlawful arrest, or deprivation of liberty. Both capital punishment and life imprisonment without the possibility for release are prohibited for offenses committed by persons below 18 years. Any child deprived of liberty shall be separated from adults unless it is considered in the child's best interest not to do so. A child who is detained shall have legal and other assistance as well as contact with the family.

Mahmood Amiry-Moghaddam, spokesperson of Iran Human rights said: " We hope UN, EU and the world community do whatever they can to stop these executions, which are clear violations of the international laws that Iran has ratified. As long as the death penalty for offences at under 18 years of age exists in the Iranian penal law, we will witness execution of minors in this country. United Nations must show that its conventions are more than just formalities and put serious pressure on the Iranian authorities in order to stop execution of minor offenders".

We urgently request the international community to swiftly act and pressure the judiciary court in Iran to review Safar Angooti's case and uphold their ratification of international laws and therefore overturn the death sentence for Safar Angooti.

Sincerely,

Dear President Obama,

The ambiguous policies of your administration in dealing with the Islamic Regime of Iran were disturbing enough to alarm the freedom loving Iranian people to endanger their lives and dare to ask whether you stand with them or with the religious dictatorship that has denied their basic rights since its inception.

The appointment of John Limbert as a Deputy Secretary for Iran in the State Departments Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs was a shocking response to all Iranians who expected you to provide practical humanistic leadership that would help the people of Iran in their fight against a religious dictatorship. Instead of standing with Iranians who are fighting for a secular democracy in Iran , you facilitated the empowerment of their enemy by appointing one of its dedicated promoters to handle the very sensitive issue of US\IR relations.

John Limbert's fascination for the Islamic Regime in Iran has been manifested by all his writings and speeches since the take-over of the U.S. Embassy in Tehran and even during his captivity. He has tried hard to legitimize the IR and pave the road for the unconditional recognition of it. He is an advisor to the National Iranian American Council (NIAC) that has been diligently pursuing the same goal for years. Congressman Bob Ney, who was another advisor and promoter of NIAC, is serving jail time for illegal lobbying to sell airplane spare parts to the Islamic Regime. According to the Washington Post article (11/13/09), NIAC is currently under investigation for illegal lobbying for the Islamic Regime of Iran.

John Limbert, along all other individuals and lobby groups, has deliberately reduced the US\IR relations to two extremes of either military intervention or friendly relationship.

The solution is neither the military intervention against Iran nor dialogue with the Islamic Regime. There is a third option that, if adopted, can eliminate the danger of this regime for the entire world. A smart sanction against the religious dictatorship in Iran will send a clear and strong message to the Iranian people that the world community is with them and is willing to weaken their enemy. This will empower the Iranian people and will advance their nonviolence struggle and civil disobedience towards establishing a secular regime.

I expect you to acknowledge the struggle of courageous Iranians and hear their loud voice announcing clearly that the current regime in Iran is not their representative. I urge you to refrain from giving any recognition to the Islamic Regime of Iran even if it conveniently suspends its atomic program. Smart sanction should be enforced until the human rights violations in Iran are stopped and as a first step all political prisoners are released. John Limbert is obviously not the right choice to facilitate this.

To: The United Nations
Thursday, December 31st, 2009
His Excellency Ban Ki-moon
Secretary-General of United Nations
The United Nations
New York, N.Y 10017

Dear Mr. Secretary-General,
It is our understanding that the role of the United Nations is to “bring peace and prosperity to the people of the world.” The UN, in this age of terror and horrendous human rights violations (i.e. such as Burma, China, Sudan and Iran,) has failed miserably, to meet its obligations and its purpose under your tutelage. Hence, we the undersigned, emphatically request, Mr. Secretary General, that you submit your resignation based on the following points:
• Your loud silence, continuing to ignore the ongoing, blatant and insidious violations of human rights in Iran, is completely inexcusable. Where is the moral voice and authority of the Secretary-General?; missing in "inaction." During this critical period in history, you continue to exhibit counter-productive and pathetically weak leadership skills. The absence of wise leadership and fortitude during your tenure, allows terrorist groups and treacherous Mullahs to thrive. Your complete incompetence and lack of character, Mr. Secretary General, fuels the flames of terrorism, brutal dictatorships, and acts of genocide. Most importantly, your behavior betrays the Iranian people and places the rest of the world at risk.
• Starting June 12, 2009, Iranians have signed and submitted numerous petitions, to the UN. Each time, our petitions fall on deaf ears. Our pleas need to be heard by a more socially responsible individual, one who speaks up for injustices and honors the code of this influential position.
• Despite the Charter of the United Nations, the UN walks away from the men, women and children being beaten, brutalized, raped, run over and shot throughout Iran. Your "quiet diplomacy" and appeasement, is not working! Amnesty International proclaims that human rights violations in Iran, are as deplorable today, as at any time in the past 20 years

• Discontent with your performance echoes throughout the civilized world. The Economist's scorecard, rates you an unacceptable, three out of ten, based on your handling of civil wars and "speaking truth to power". Kenneth Roth, executive director of Human Rights Watch, states "The main image people have of him is sitting down with the bad guys and getting nothing." Norway's U.N. ambassador, Mona Juul refers to you, in her memo to Norway's foreign minister, as a "spineless and charmless" leader, who fails to convey the U.N.'s "moral voice and authority." Your own civil servants and diplomats increasingly portray you as an ineffective administrator, whose reluctance to hold outlaw leaders to account for bad behavior, has undercut the United Nations' moral authority.

We do not feel you reflect the integrity and vision nor the resilience, requisite for the position of the Chief of the United Nations. On behalf the severely oppressed Iranians and in the best interest of the free world, we ask you to resign.

Sincerely,

The Undersigned
