Massive strikes throughout Iran in protest against the Labor Ministry for abusing workers' rights!

4000 workers in Southern Khorassan Province strike for 2 hours

Nationwide strike in protest against the Labor Ministry today:

A 1000 Pars Electric workers strike

So far, these strikes have lasted from 2 to 4 hours, and have been peaceful.

However, it is significant to note, that this was a well organized, sophisticated and widely supported national civil disobediance act, which demonstrates an impressive infrastructure and network of dissent is alive and well in Iran!
