Workers protest smashed in northern Iran

Several workers have been beaten up as they staged a protest against their poor conditions in the northern province of Guilan located by the Caspian Sea. At least three of them have been reported as being in critical conditions and have been transferred to Rasht's Hospital.
The workers who were belonging to "Foomenat Textile" were staging a peaceful protest when they were attacked by special forces and plainclothes officers.
Witnesses have testified that the order of the brutal attack was given by the commander of the militiamen, sent from Shalkooh, and an extreme violence was used by his men who were using heavy clubs against the helpless workers.
Most Iranian factories and services are witnessing partial strikes and protest actions as the regime is unable to respond to workers and employees legitimate aspirations or rights, such as, getting their usual salaries. In some entities there are workers who haven't received their salaries since several months and the plants are on stage of closure or liquidation as individuals affiliated to Islamic regime are purchasing them in order to close them and to speculate on the lands prices.
Actually other partial strikes are paralysing several entities, such as, "Pars Minoo" factories in Tehran and Zandjan. _________________ Referendum AFTER Regime Change

The great privatisation plan of the Mullah$, is designed to transfer the billions of assets held by the Mullah run foundations into the private bank accounts of their sons, so that they can legally transfer the billions out of the country which is what they are doing. The impact of this great theft of what is left of the nation's loot is and will continue to be devastating on the workers. So the questions is, how do the Mullah$ expect to keep this going? With their great nuclear distraction. |
