Zero Tolerance for Terrorist Sponsor Sites

Two July 7 articles published in The Wall Street Journal Europe point to an incomprehensible gap in the war against terrorism. The commentary "Iran's Terrorist 'NGO'" by Nils Boms and Reza Bulorchi, reports that the government of Iran is sponsoring an "Army of Martyrs," which claims to have 10,000 volunteers for suicide attacks on the U.S., including attacks with atomic weapons.

"U.S. Plans Massive Convention Security" by John Mintz from the Washington Post tells us that intelligence officials have "incontrovertible" evidence that al Qaeda and like minded groups are planning to launch terrorist attacks in the U.S. before the November election, similar to the March 11 Madrid train bombing that influenced the Spanish election.

However, the massive measures we are taking to prevent terror attacks in the U.S. are limited to domestic policing. They ignore the foreign-policy and military dimensions of terrorism that are clearly spelled out in the article on Iran's Army of Martyrs.

Terrorists originate in Islamic terror-sponsoring states, particularly the wealthy oil producers. If we continue making believe that there is no state return address on these attacks, we will be letting murderers and their sponsors set rules of engagement that put us in a passive, vulnerable posture. Instead, we should take the strategic initiative by reinforcing homeland security with an aggressive policy of deterrence. The U.S. government should declare that it will view any terror attacks on America as having originated in terror-sponsoring Islamic states, and that we will retaliate accordingly. Suicide bombers have nothing to lose, but the governments that fund and arm them are more protective of their lives and assets. Sponsor governments should be put on clear notice that if they fail to curb terrorists, they face extinction. The destruction of Saddam and the Baathists in Iraq was the beginning, not the end of the war on terrorism.

The ayatollahs in Iran and other sponsor governments should be put on notice that this is the fate they will be courting as long they continue to use and tolerate terrorism.

We paid for all this MESS with our blood just so the Brits and the rest of EU could fill up their tanks with huge amount of Free Oil. And now our children continue to pay for it with their blood, livelyhood and freedom!

Why on Earth should we PAY WITH MORE BLOOD to clean it up?
Now that your tanks are filled with Oil, and billions of dollars are transferred to your bank accounts that belong to our future generations, perhaps you'll have the decency to finally pull the plug on your terrorist puppets!



BUT NO SUCH DECENCY EXISTS AS FAR AS THE BRITS ARE CONCERNED.
IT NEVER HAVE, NEVER WILL BE! YOUR ENTIRE EXISTANCE AND YOUR HISTORY IS BASED ON FASCIST COLONIALISM!

Let EU clean up the Mess they've created in the first place!
