* Iran's Expediency Council head Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani said that no
death could be more fitting for Sheikh Yassin, who had spent his blessed
life in a campaign against Israel to restore the rights of the oppressed
Palestinian nation, than to be martyred by the most merciless
anti-freedom and inhumane criminals.
(http://khabarnameh.gooya.com/politics/archives/008023.php) Rafsanjani
predicted that the "dastardly" killing will expedite the Palestinian
"ultimate victory" over Israel. (IRNA, Iran, 3/22/04)

* Iranian President Muhammad Khatami strongly condemned the
assassination of Hamas spiritual leader Sheikh Ahmed Yassin. Khatami
said: "The heinous crime reflects cowardly behavior of the occupying
Israeli regime... I expect that the international associations [will]
react..." (IRNA, Iran, 3/22/04) Khatami further said: "I expect the
international community to condemn the criminal Zionist regime and their
evil supporters, particularly the U.S." (Mehr News Agency, Iran,
3/22/04)

It's the islamic regime, dear.. It's known for being very much anti-israel and anti-semit.

So it's important that world supports the iranian people ( with a very pro-israel youth ) to get rid of those arab mullahs.

I disagree to refer to them as "iranians" .. they are not.. Khomeini was from pakistan. Rafsanjani is originally from Mongolia and other in that regime are from Najaf.

Only a terrorist regime like the one in Iran will have "sympathy" toward another terroist brother like Hamas, & Hezbollah and the rest..... THE REGIME IN IRAN IS NOT IRANIAN.....IT IS AN ARAB REGIME......IRAN HAS BEEN INVADED FOR THE SECOND TIME IN 1400 YRS BY ARABS.....

Subject: Iranians urged to stage mass protests following Yassin assassination
Source: Al Bawaba
Date 24-03-2004

In the aftermath of Sheikh Yassin's assassination, the Coordination Council of the Islamic Propagation Organization (IPO) called on Iranians to massively take part in anti-Zionist demonstrations to condemn the killing of Hamas' spiritual leader.

"We condemn the recent measure adopted by the Zionist regime which is the symbol of state terrorism on [the] assassination of Hamas leader Sheikh Yassin and call on the Iranian Muslim nation to stage demonstrations and express their hatred towards such terrorist acts on
Friday," the statement read, cited by IRNA news agency.

S.K.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The only "mass protests" that they will get will be against themselves (IRI) and not some savage arab brother of theirs that was rightfully killed by the IDF!

Sure... The majority of the Iranian Youth will stay home, just as they did during the infamous regime organized "Al Quds Day"..

Millions of Iranians stood at home and the demonstration was attended only by few arab fanatics and relatives of mullahs' officials.

The Middle East Media Research Institute
Special Dispatch Series - No. 3
July 30, 1998

Interview with the Hamas Leader

Excerpts from an interview with Hamas leader, Sheikh Ahmed Yassin,
printed in Al-Quds, July 26, 1998.

Question: Was the fact that the King of Saudi Arabia received you during
your tour of the Arab states a message to the United States?

Yassin: It was an expression of appreciation on the part of Saudi Arabia
for [our] activities for the sake of Palestine and to tell the world --
especially the U.S. and Israel -- that Saudi Arabia supports the path of
jihad. Saudi Arabia has demonstrated strength and courage because it
declared its position loud and clear, telling the U.S. that it supports
the path of struggle to restore the plundered land. In other words, the
welcome I received was a clear message to the U.S. and a provocation
against its policy…

All Arab peoples and leaders support the Palestinian people, and the
entire trip was a provocation against the American policy in the Middle
East.

Question: Has your position toward [the Islamic Republic] changed as the result of your visit to Tehran?

Yassin: Yes, my position changed. I did not know that the Iranians were
so interested in the Palestinian cause. I found in them a deep
willingness to liberate Palestine – a will to endure for the Palestinian
cause all the hardships created by the U.S. policy.

Question: But the position of the Muslim Brotherhood in Palestine
[meaning the Hamas movement] used to be anti-Iranian. Has it changed?

Yassin: From the moment that the Islamic revolution broke out in Iran,
we supported it.
But there were those who wanted to present the
situation as if the Iranians were the jihad warriors while we evaded
[our duty].

Question: Have you been promised financial assistance from governments
or individuals?

Yassin: We were promised financial assistance from both governments and
individuals to support the Palestinian people. They promised to support
humanitarian and educational institutions of the Palestinian people, as
well as Palestinian prisoners and the families of martyrs… The promise
still stands and we are waiting for it to be realized.

Question: Do you expect Israel to attempt to assassinate you?

Yassin: I will be very happy if that happens. I wish they had done it
already -- if they have the talent for it. The day in which I will die
as a shahid [martyr] will be the happiest day of my life.

Ebrahim Yazdi (left of Arafat) celebrating the overthrow of the Shah and the triumph of the "Imam".

Looking very innocent for the camera, a few weeks ago he attended the ceremony marking the death of Dr. Mossadegh, a respected Iranian nationalist. But then again all terrorists, leftist or hizbullahi, seeing the popularity of Reza Pahlavi II, have found it an excellent idea to supplement their "reformist" ideas with the pretense of being merely the followers of Mosasdegh.

Mossadegh, have no doubt, is turning in his grave.

Just a question.. Are they free to mourn Mossadegh in Iran ?

What if an Iranian want to mourn the late Reza Shah in Iran ?

Will he return home safe or he will be killed or imprisoned ?

I am the Israeli(jew) who wrote in "persian gulf" topic
When I heard about the assasination of Yassin, I had mixed feelings
on the one hand, he was for Israel what Bin Laden was for the US
He killed hundreds of our citizens, and all of the Israeli citizens has been his target. WE GOT HIM!!!!!!
On the other hand, whenever we kill a senior Palestinian terroist, it causes us problem, because there are always attacks of revenge, sucidie bombings. I was afriad to go out that day, and the streets were empty, and when I took the bus in Jerusalem I checked every person there to be sure that no one is a "potential" sucidie bobmer
But when I looked at the tv, and heard all the terrorists leaders across the world had to say about it, from Ayatollah Khammeni to Iman Zuhari, I understood how great this action was.
LOOK HOW THEY ARE SHAKING, WHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!
Ayatollahs are shaking, huizballah are shaking, Al-Qauida are shaking!!!!!!!
We killed one of the biggest terrorists in the world, and we barly got a small condem from some misrable ayatollahs' doggies like Jack Straw
Ayatollahs got so scared, that Khammeni said nonsense like"the only return for this "crime" is to destroy the zionist state"
COME ON, MOTHER FUCKER, WE'LL BE HAPPY TO SEARCH IN YOUR MOUTH THE USA DID TO SADDAM!!!!!!!
So the idiots ayatollahs tried to terrorize us with their huizballah puppites from Lebanon, so they bombed us. they didn't even scratch a soldier of us
In return, we bombed them directly, and hit them hard.
We killed other two Huzinallah gurillaz that tried to shoot rockets on our north, and killed them.
THERE IS NOTHING THE LAME AYATOLLAHS CAN DO ABOUT IT!!!!!
WE GOT A FENCE NOW, THE PAELSTINIANS ARE HAVING SUCH A HARD TIME TO BRING ONE SUICIDE BOMBERS TO OUR CITIES, NOT MENTIOING THAT THEY CAN'T HURT US FROM LEBANON!!!!!
DEAR IRANIAN BROTHERS, IT JUST A MATTER OF TIME UNTIL YOU'LL BE INDIPANDANCE!!!!!!!
LOOK AT SADDAM, HOW FASTLY HE WAS REMOVED
LOOK AT GADDAFI
LOOT AT SUDAN
AYATOLLAHS WILL SOON BE CRUSHED, AND YOU WILL BE LIBERATED
LONG LIVE THE PERSIAN PEOPLE
LONG LIVE THE ISRAELI PEOPLE
LONG LIVE THE AMERICAN PEOPLE!!!!!!!
DOWN WITH THE AYATOLLAHS!!!!!
