Great song. But what does "azady" mean? When she sang, it sounded like "ajady". |

I was merely saying what I heard. That was the first time that I had heard Persian spoken. |

Well, Stefania is an italian girl
But an iranian is not necessarily someone who can speak persian, like BBC (Bloody brittish channel).
An iranian is someone whose heart is with the iranian people, like Stefania.
Ps Stefania
Contact some schools in your city and ask them if they can offer you any persian language education. Or why not ask some of your iranian friends in your city? Maybe one of them studies persian 1 hour/week and you could contact that teacher?

Only 10 lessons for the set and it costs $80 AMER=$120 CDN. I saw some other books that others buy. Do you think they are good? I would need a grammar, dictionary, and history of the language, plus some pronounciation help (maybe a tape or CD). |

Also: You may want to get some videos - Iranian films with subtitles (which you will enjoy) and also some videos that teach farsi.. it also doesn't hurt to find a persian speaking individual near you and setup lessons! _________________ IRANIANS UNITE

I thought the quality wasn't that great. Maybe because it is on the internet? It sounds much better on TV.
About learning Persian... It is really hard to learn a new language from books and tapes (esp. books). I think the best way is to find a good friend who can teach you. |

Dear,
In English it is called Persian, not "Farsi" (just like it is called Spanish and not "Spanol", French and not "Francis", German and not "Deutch"). |
