Dr. Froud Fouladvand Under Arrest?
regimechangeiran.com

Iman Foroutan, SOS IRAN.com, told me that it has been reported that Dr. Froud Fouladvand, the Iranian broadcaster operating out of the UK has been arrested. He has been advocating an armed struggle with the Iranian government. His group has been responsible for numerous demonstrations in Europe asking the leaders of the EU to drop its support for the Islamic Republic of Iran. I have yet to find a news source that can confirm this report.

Iranian Polling Station in LA Shut Down

I just heard from Iman Foroutan, of SOSIRAN.com, that the Iranian polling station in Los Angeles, CA was shut down. Prior to its closure, Aryo Pirouznia, of SMCCDI, and an unnamed women were pepper sprayed by security personnel guarding the polling station. The woman required medical attention and was taken to a local hospital.

I have heard of other agressive measures taken by the Islamic Republic of Iran's personnel in other cities today. A more complete briefing on today's efforts will be posted later.

Update: An SOSIRAN.com associate sent me the following report:

A group of Iranian Americans composed of TV journalists and political activist who had gathered in front of the Commerce Plaza Hotel (Los Angeles suburb) to protest and report the conduction of the sham Iranian presidential elections were assaulted by the hotel security on the command of IRI thugs in US.

According to Ms. Dokhi Abdi; a political activist and Iranian satellite TV reporter and commentator in Los Angeles, upon the arrival of the group to the Commerce Plaza Hotel where the elections for the Iranian presidential election was being conducted, the group of 12 activists and journalists were intercepted by the hotel security and a valid Iranian passport was demanded from them in order to allow entry to the hotel.

Soon after several Iranians who were in charge of the event in the hotel were called to the scene; upon their determination that this group of 12 were Iranian dissidents as well as Iranian Americans who are against the IRI (Islamic Republic of Iran) the hotel security attacked the dissidents and journalists.

According to Ms. Abdi, the hotel security attacked Nasrin Mohammadi whose two of her brothers are political prisoners in Iran in Iran to confiscate her video camera as a result of this she fell from a platform.

Ms. Firozeh Ghafarpour (another TV journalists and political activist) started to protest this; she was then viciously attacked with pepper spray. At this point Ms. Dokhi Abdi told the security that she was a reporter and that she was there to report the event, upon stating this she was attacked and she was sprayed in the mouth. Several other individuals were beaten and hand cuffed.

As I write this the victims are being treated in a local hospital emergency room.

[could this have something to do with the alleged arrest of Doctor F?]

He is released now, thank God!

I can't believe how little britian is supporting the mullahs fascist reigme with tooth and nail.

it's really a shame for U.K.

If Mr. Fouladvand is a "terrorist" then so are Americans and Europeans who fought agaisnt Fascism!

You see, how the entire world is standing behind Islamo-Fascist regime?

The corrupt, Fascist loving groups in United States, UK and the rest of Europe and world will have to answer for their support of KHOMEINI, and now Rafsanjani.

Mr. fouladvand was only arrestd - on mullah's sham election day- so he would not speak againt them!

I'm telling you, Regime's Head Office is in LONDON.

Technically speaking, anyone inside the U.S. who tries to run a violent overthrow of any sovereign government, no matter how vile, could run afoul of a law called the Logan Act, which prohibits that sort of thing. A person inside the U.S. might be saved by the fact that the U.S. doesn't currently recognize the Mullah regime, or at least, have diplomatic relations with it. Of course *WE* in here are all supporting a peaceful revolution so we are ok, right? Smile

Four Linked to Iran Terror Plot Arrested

Four terrorist suspects arrested by armed police in dawn swoops in north London yesterday are believed to be linked to a dissident group plotting against the Iranian government, according to police and anti-terrorist officials.

The men, aged 31, 37, 58 and 63, were being questioned last night at the high security police station at Paddington Green.

A Scotland Yard source said they were believed to have links to terrorist activity in the Middle East.

The men were said to be Iranians or part of a group opposed to Tehran.
They were not linked to any al-Qaida network nor planning terrorist attacks in the UK, anti-terrorist officials said.

Officers from the Metropolitan police's S013 anti-terrorist branch seized two of the men in a car in Barnet, in the early hours of yesterday.

They were supported by armed officers in case the men had guns.

The police did not recover any firearms, although the road was closed for some time while forensic examinations were carried out.

The operation was led by the police, with the support of MI5.

Two other men were arrested at residential addresses, and officers were searching three properties, two in Barnet and one in Finchley.

A source said they did not expect to discover any bomb-making equipment, but hoped to find computers and documents revealing the men's plans.

A number of items were seized.

The men are being held under section 41 of the Terrorism Act 2000, on suspicion of preparing, instigating or commissioning acts of terrorism.

The operation, which took place a stone's throw from

Reports of Iranians voting in the US
regimechangeiran.com
Robert Mayer of PublisPundit has just released his length and valuable report on the polling station in Tuscon. It includes photos and a fascinating with the poll watcher and his views of America.

Will of Willisms produced a two similar reports from Houston, Texas. One, Two. Photos included.

Finally, SMCCDI published a report of their success in closing down the LA polling station.
Aryo B. Pirouznia, the SMCCDI Coordinator, and several other Iranian political activists were wounded by Islamists and mercenaries hired by Islamic republic regime. These aggressions took place, yesterday, in front of Commerce Hotel located in the City of Los Angeles.

Pirouznia and several colleagues, such as, Firoozeh Ghafarpoor, Morad Moalem, Dokhi Abdi and Nasrin Mohamadi were admitted to the emergency service of Beverly Hospital as suffering of extensive use of pepper gas and wounds inflicted by regime's mercenaries.

Tens of Sheriffs, Policemen and FBI agents rushed to the area along with several paramedic and firefighting crews. This quick deployment avoided more harm to the activists and the immediate closure of the illegal ballot box in this only Los Angeles location.

Arrests of some of brutal agents have been made and legal complaints are to be introduced against the hotel, security company hired by Islamic regime and the theocratic regime itself.

Reporters of several local TV stations and news agencies, such as, Fox News, Channel 5, Reuters and AP covered the fiasco witnessed by the regime which had deployed several Iranian agents and members of a Mexican gang.

Other clashes have been reported from cities, such as, San Jose (CA), Toronto (Canada) and Frankfurt (Germany) where activists were attacked by regime's men and mercenaries. Canadian police and government had to intervene in order to get the release of a freedomfighter held captive by regime's 'diplomats' inside its embassy.

Tens of other protest demos took place in most N. American and European cities where the regime had organized ballot boxes. These actions were made in support of Iranians who boycotted massively the sham Presidential 'elections'.

Well, it's nice to know the Guardian has finally found a use for the word "terrorist".

Sh*t.

FOUR Iranians suspected of plotting terrorist attacks in Iran from addresses in North London were arrested by armed police yesterday.

The four men, aged 31, 37, 58 and 63, had been under surveillance by MI5 officers for many months. The decision to arrest them — on the day that Iran went to the polls to elect a president — was taken because of fears that they were in possession of firearms.

There was no evidence that they had engaged in terrorist activities affecting the United Kingdom and it was not clear what the potential targets were in Iran.

The men were seized in Barnet and Finchley by officers from Scotland Yard’s anti-terrorist branch, supported by armed police, under section 41 of the Terrorism Act. Last night they were being questioned at the high-security Paddington Green police station.

The elections yesterday were expected to bring in a moderate president who would be more conciliatory towards the West — anathema to the country’s Islamic fundamentalists.

Two of the suspects were arrested in a car in Barnet’s high street. The road was closed off while police checked the car. No firearms were found in it.

Searches continued at three addresses in North London. One was a council flat on a large 1960s estate in Barnet.

Kerry Germishuzen, who lives opposite, described the dawn raid. She said: “I was woken up at 3.30am by this almighty noise. It sounded like a riot was taking place. I belted out of bed onto my balcony and saw around 20 armed men dressed in black with helmets and balaclavas on. They were trying to smash down the front door of the flat with a battering ram but it took several minutes. They were shouting at the occupants to stay away from the door.”

An ambulance came and some people arrived in white overalls whom she took to be forensic officers. “Eventually, a man in his 50s was led out in handcuffs and put into the ambulance, accompanied by police and forensics officers.”

Ms Germishuzen, a 42-year-old housewife, said: “I had never seen this man before but neighbours had reported strange goings-on in the flat to the police, with lots of male visitors being frisked before they were allowed in.”

Another neighbour, who gave his name as Jamie, added: “They had only been there a few months and were very security-conscious with lots of security lights outside and even boarded-up windows. There was a man in a wheelchair and a woman and a child, but lots of other men coming and going all the time.

“My Mum had an argument with one man over a bump to her car when it was left parked outside the flat. The man told her that she should not cross him. He was very hostile.”

Another witness to the raids at a separate block of flats in Barnet said that police had gathered under railway arches near by before rushing forward to make the arrests.

Chandni Patel, 17, who lives on the ground floor of the targeted block of flats, said the family involved in the arrests had lived there for about two years.

Wow. Bitter neighbour.

So he was back on air today (via telephone). They broke his rib, cut both of his hands, kicked him in the face, and also injured his fourhead. They stormed his house at 3 A. M. and never even announced that they were the police. Poor guy thought they were the regime's agents coming to finish him off.

So what was the point of all this? They just wanted to snoop into his computer and papers to find out what he was up to so they could stop him from brining down the regime?

UK anti-terrorist police arrest four men in London

LONDON (Reuters) - Anti-terrorist police arrested four men in London in early morning raids on Friday, Scotland Yard said.

The BBC, citing Home Office sources, said the men were linked to a dissident Iranian group opposed to the Tehran government.

An police source told Reuters the four were of Middle-eastern origin and were recruiting in Britain for a "particular cause."

"There is nothing to suggest they were planning any sort of attack in this country," the source said.

The source added that they were not linked to international terrorism or any al-Qaeda group. They had been arrested after police received information they might be inciting others to commit offences abroad.

Note from me: They received this "Information" from who? Rafsanjani?

The arrests followed searches at two addresses in Barnet, north London, and one in nearby Finchley.

Two of the men were arrested in a vehicle in Barnet, police added. All are being held at a central London police station.

Britain has detained more than 700 people under anti-terrorism laws since the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks on the United States.

Of these, around 120 have been charged with terrorism offences and another 135 charged under other legislation.

Well as least MSN is more clear in their headline:

Four arrested in anti-terror raids

Four men were today arrested in London on suspicion of terrorism offences.

The men were being questioned at a central London police station after their arrests early this morning.

The four - aged 31, 37, 58 and 63 - were arrested during armed raids in Barnet and Finchley, both in north London, under Section 41 of the Terrorism Act.

A Metropolitan police spokesman said there was "no information" to suggest the men had been planning an attack in the UK. "This inquiry relates to the Middle East," he said.

When asked whether the inquiry related to Islamist terrorism, the spokesman said: "All we are saying is it's the Middle East." He confirmed the men were not British citizens.

Anti-terror police, supported by armed officers, raided two addresses in Barnet and one in Finchley.

Two of the suspects were arrested in a vehicle in Barnet High Road. "This road has been closed to facilitate police inquiries. Searches of the premises are ongoing," the police spokesman said.

British police have arrested 732 people under the Terrorism Act 2000 between September 11 2001 and March 31 2005, according to the latest government figures available.

Of those arrested, 121 have been charged under the Act and 21 convicted of offences.

It's funny how the guy who has been received so many death threats for speaking out against Islam is accused of being an Islamic terrorist.

Email Prime Minister Tony Blair at:

Congratulate him at how wonderful it is that his troops savage an old man who has lived so many years under the threat of assassination by the mullahs, and who might never have fired a shot in anger. How those real terrorists and tyrants must be laughing to see the agents of a free country do their work for them! With some practice, perhaps the police can finish the job next time! Then the mullahs might award you and Mr. Jack Straw honorary turbans to wear!

I seriously believe that they wanted to stage it so that he would think it was really terrorists coming to kill him so that they would try to shoot at the police and the police would have an excuse to finish him off. I mean he has a gun. He has said so many times. If I know it, then so the British police. Why wouldn't they reveal that they were the police? Since when do the police storm a house and not say they are the police? Why would they led him to think they were assassins? It's a good thing that the he didn't go for his gun. I don't know why he didn't though. Maybe he couldn't get to it?

This is abd

Once again, the opposition needs legal teams in every country. Letters of protest etc. are good and fine, but you need lawyers. Maybe iricrimes.org, since they have lawyers can consider also getting involved in this sort of thing.

From now onwards, the opposition needs to put together legal teams in every country, the second something like this happens, you take legal action.
