Are you sure that pistol is Iranian? because it just looks like a colt 1911 varient. And please do not venerate artemisia liberator, she is neither persian nor a patriot. If anything she should be condemned by iranian patriots.

Everywhere i look, iranians are venerating Queen artemisia as a great persian patriot. Let me explain something to you who are mistaken. Firstly Artemisia was a native of Halicanarsos, this is a town in modern day turkey - SHE WAS NOT EVEN PERSIAN.

Secondly, even if she were a persian she was a traitorous wretch. Throughout the entire campaign in Greece, she continually undermined the authority of her fellow officers and broke up the cohesion of the entire expedition just so she could gain more favour with king Xerxes. In war councils she would shout down the proposals of other generals in favour of her own creating dissent and hate between xerxes's officers. She was not only corrupt but also a coward. At the battle of salamis whilst the persian fleet was being cut to pieces by the allied greeks, her ship was being chased by a greek vessel. At this point she tore down the persian flag from her ship and proceded to ram a friendly persian trireme. The greek ship seeing this assumed artemisia had defected and left her alone. Artemisia took the lives of around 100 loyal persian and phoenecian men. She was no patriot and no hero. The sources for this established fact about artemisia are herodotus and aeschylus - the latter of which was at salamis. The former was a native of halicarnasos and so would have a large store of information on his monarch
