Some hours ago the young people of Takab, a town located in the province of Western Azarbaijan, began writing political slogans on the walls; slogans such as "Death to the Islamic Republic", "Death to Khamenei" and the like. Soon they were attacked by the security forces which wanted to arrest them. For some half an hour the sound of gunfire and bullets were heard all over the town, and the security forces, apparently to intimidate the townspeople, began to bombard the mountains adjacent to Takab with mortars. During this confrontation two members of the Islamic security forces were injured with bullet wounds in the legs.
