this thread probably does'nt make too much sense unless you speak farsi, but i wanted to show my respect and love of ferdowsi's shanameh.

Dear Reza,

In English it is Persian (not Farsi). In Persian, it is Parsi (not Farsi).

To Stefania,

Bikhiyal means: forget about it, leave it alone, I don't care, I don't want to be bothered. Bikhiyal literally means "no worries". I guess 9karevatan just doesn't care about the most single most important part of our cultural heritage. So much for patriotism, eh?

Thanks for the link Stefania. Wink

what is your problem with me azadeh...u obviously have one...it seems thta if u were here u would cutt my head off Embarassed

the meaning of bikhial changes by the way u say it...

if u emphasize on the iiiiiiii when u say it then it can mean wow or damm or "thats over the edge" or gosh or "wo there"

but if u just say it normally without any expression then it starts to get a negative image and that is what azadeh is showing..

does it really matter what i call it when it all means the same - this sort of pedantic attitude gets really old really fast. Rolling Eyes
